15th Annual Victims’ Fund 5k Run & 2 Mile Walk Sunday, September 23, 2012 ************************************** Thank you to all of the runners and walkers who participated in this year’s 5k Run and 2 Mile Walk. You ran with 125 runners and walked with 40 walkers!! Thank you to all of our supporters and volunteers who planned and worked the race and provided food and prizes! The Victims’ Fund Run: Ever wonder how people pay for unexpected expenses incurred as a result of crime committed against them? Not all costs are covered by insurance or compensation funds. Our Victims’ Fund is generated entirely by an annual 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk that raises funds to provide emergency assistance to victims. The Victims’ Fund Run brings out hundreds of runners and walkers and is followed by awards, food and dozens of random prizes. The Victims’ Fund assists victims who have no other means to replace what victimization has cost them including: repairing or replacing locks, windows or doors, insurance deductibles, etc… Thank you for supporting the VICTIMS’ FUND!
